Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection official artwork and logo

Much like the Mega Man Legacy Collections that came before it, the upcoming Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will bring with it an assortment of slightly spruced up Mega Man games. You can expect to see all six mainline Mega Man Battle Network games and their variations, an in-game art gallery filled with official illustrations, long-lost event art and even rough sketches, as well as a high resolution filter that you can turn on or off depending on your preference.

Most importantly of all, Capcom has now announced that they're working on adding online features for all ten games in the Battle Network Legacy Collection! The details are still few and far between, but you can expect to see things like online battles, chip trading and more.

Whether the new online features will simply mirror the ones found in the Game Boy Advance version or if Capcom will cook up some entirely new ideas, I'm afraid that is still up in the air. Either way, it's going to be interesting to see how the Mega Man Battle Network series fares in multiplayer now that you don't need to mess around with link cables and other such nonsense.

Continuing on with the theme of missing information, the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection currently has no concrete release date. Instead, all I can tell you is that it will be launching onto PC, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch at some point in 2023.

Once we get an actual date I'll make sure to let you know. Until then, you can read a little bit more about the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection over at the official website. Enjoy!
