Riot has announced that League of Legends will be getting a rather sizable update this September 12th. Patch 8.18 will bring in a brand new PvE mission by the name of Odyssey: Extraction, as well as a variety of cosmetics including epic skins for Jinxy, Yasuo, Sona, Malphite and Ziggs. There will also be a legendary skin for Kayn, new ward skins, emotes and the list goes on.

If you're wondering what exactly these skins will look like, as well as what the whole Odyssey event will be about, allow me to share with you the recently posted cinematic trailer. It's a pretty darn good one, so I highly recommend you check it out:

I would love to tell you more, but I'm afraid Riot is currently being rather coy with the actual details. As such, we'll probably have to wait until September 12th to figure out what exactly Odyssey: Extraction has to offer, as well as how we can grab some of the new cosmetics and emotes. 

Until then, I would suggest you give the trailer another peek as there are quite a few references hidden throughout it, some a lot more subtle than the others. Happy hunting!
