Killing Floor 2 Treacherous Skies artwork and logo

Killing Floor 2's Treacherous Skies update has now arrived, bringing with it a whole bunch of new content. There's two new maps to explore, three powerful new robot enemies to contend with, four new weapons to tear said enemies apart with, and perhaps most importantly, the ability for players to upgrade their weapons to Tier 5. The latter will cost you a fair bit of dosh and will increase the weapon's weight, but it will also give you a considerable amount of extra damage, thus ensuring you can make pretty much any weapon work.

For those of wondering what all of this might look like in gameplay terms, allow me to share with you the recently posted the trailer. It's fairly short, but it'll give you a pretty darn good idea of what to expect from the new update. Have a look:


If you don't own Killing Floor 2 but all of this seems to be right up your alley, you might be interested to hear that Killing Floor 2 will be completely free to play for the next 2 days. Simply head on over to Steam, click on that giant green "Play Game" button, and you'll be blasting mutated circus freaks in no time.
