[Update]: Ninja Theory is working on a highly ambitious sequel to Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.

While the combat was a little bit mediocre, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice made up for all of that with a truly immersive atmosphere and some rather lovely visuals. And what better way to enhance those qualities than by putting yourself directly into the world, which is why I'm very glad to say that Hellblade: Senua's Sacrfice VR will be coming this July 31st as an entirely free update on Steam!

As far as platforms are concerned, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice will be playable in VR on the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Given that Microsoft has recently acquired Ninja Theory, I think it's safe to assume that the Hellblade will eventually be available on Microsoft's VR platform as well. Nothing has been confirmed just yet, however, so do make sure to take that last part with a few grains of salt.
