If you've been spending most of your time in Hearthstone's Battlegrounds mode and you're now itching for something a bit different, you might be glad to hear that a brand new expansion has just arrived. The aptly named Descent of Dragons expansion brings with it an assortment of cards that synergize with dragons to create powerful effects, sidequest cards that give you small objectives to complete throughout the match for fairly major rewards, and most importantly, special invoke cards that greatly power up the newly added Galakrond legendaries!

Don't worry about having to collect all of the legendaries in order to experience the new mechanics, however, as all five Galakrond variants will be granted to you for free just by logging in! You'll still need a whole bunch of new cards in order to make Galakrond decks function as expected, but even so it's a pretty neat gift and a solid starting point for a brand new build.

There will be even more content in the near future as Galakrond's Awakening, a solo adventure story, will be coming this January alongside 35 new cards to collect. No details have been given just yet, but more cards to toy around with is certainly a positive thing in my book... especially if they bring with them even more dragons!
