After a bit of a slowdown due to the holiday season, Guild Wars 2's main storyline has now finally received its next chapter as a part of the Episode 5: All or Nothing update. Without delving into spoilers, let's just say you can expect to see a massive battle against the Elder Dragon Kralkatorrik, a new Fractal by the name of Siren's Reef, as well as a large open-world map to explore.

As is tradition, the update has also added a brand new legendary item to craft (this time it's a fancy new bow), a new mount mastery to unlock, as well as a variety of new cosmetics to play dress-up with. If you're wondering what all of this might look like in-game, allow me to share with you the recent trailer:

Much like the previous episodes, All or Nothing is entirely free to grab until the next episode rolls around. So even if you're not planning on playing it right now, I would highly recommend you unlock the latest story chapter on your account so you can always return to it later without worrying about missing anything out.

Speaking of episodes, you might be interested to hear that All or Nothing is likely to be the penultimate episode of Season 4. This has not been officially confirmed just yet, but given how the story is going and the content that has been datamined already, chances are high that this is going to end up being true.

But if you're thinking this means a brand new expansion is just around the corner, I'm afraid you might end up being disappointed given that ArenaNet has already announced that Season 5 will arrive before any potential expansion. On the positive side, ArenaNet doesn't exactly like to talk about their future plans or give any concrete dates until things are almost ready to launch, so there is a chance that Season 5 might be a brief lead-up to the expansion itself.

Whatever the case may be, I'll make sure to let you know once ArenaNet releases some actual details. Until then, I hope you have fun with the new episode as it seems to be a pretty darn good one!
