If you're looking for a couple of games to cuddle up to in order to avoid the freezing cold, you might be interested to hear that the GOG Winter Sale has now arrived. Better yet, it has done so alongside a giveaway for the excellent LucasArts graphic adventure Full Throttle Remastered!
While the Winter Sale itself will last for three full weeks, until January 3rd, Full Throttle Remastered will only be free for a limited time. And I really do mean limited as the giveaway will only last for another ~12 hours! So if you're even remotely curious about it, I would highly recommend you hop over to GOG and claim yourself a copy.

All of the games on that list are ones I've spent an embarrassing number of hours with, so if you're not exactly sure what to grab, I would highly suggest looking into any of them. This goes doubly so for some of the older games like XCOM and Dragon Age as they are both massive and on a massive discount.
