God Eater 3 screenshot of a giant monster

The Monster Hunter inspired God Eater 3 will be arriving this February 8th for PC and PlayStation 4. It'll bring with it a variety of giant monsters to smack around, some equally gigantic weapons to do said smacking with, a seemingly lengthy singleplayer campaign, and perhaps most interestingly of all, a multiplayer mode that will allow up to eight players to fight together, all depending on the strength of the monster itself.

While the recently posted trailer unfortunately doesn't showcase much of that kind of multiplayer madness, it will still give you a decent idea of what God Eater 3's co-op mode will be about. So if you're curious, have a peek:

I won't pretend I'm a big fan of the over-the-top anime aesthetic, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to God Eater 3. After spending nearly a hundred hours messing around with the dual blades and longsword in Monster Hunter: World, I guess I've become a sucker for any game that lets me dash around the battlefield like a madman!

My little musings aside, you can learn more about God Eater 3, as well as follow its development moving forward, by hopping over to the official website. And just for good measure, allow me to leave you with one of the earlier story trailers. Enjoy!
