Following in the footsteps of their previous games like Predator: Hunting Grounds and Friday the 13th: The Game, the freshly released Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is a 4v1 asymmetrical multiplayer madhouse. The big difference is that instead of the solo player serving as the big bad monster the others have to avoid or defeat, in Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed the ghost is the one that has to rely on stealth and subterfuge in order to scare off its pursuers.

Rather than babble on, allow me to share with you the launch trailer. That should give you a pretty good impression of just what Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is trying to do. Have a little peek:

I haven't played it myself so take the following with a few grains of salt, but judging by the reception so far it looks like Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is competent albeit somewhat unexciting. As such, my big worry is that Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed will go in the same direction as a bunch of other multiplayer games and slowly lose players over time until there's basically nobody but the super hardcore crowd left. So if you're planning to dive in yourself, I'd highly recommend jamming as many games as you can during this initial honeymoon period as learning the game alongside other players is always a lot more fun than trying to wrangle with a well established meta.

Whatever your plans may be, you can learn more about Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed and its gameplay style over at the official website. Enjoy!
