While it was released around the time Telltale Games began their nosedive in quality, Tales from the Borderlands thankfully ended up being a highly enjoyable adventure game. Best of all, not only was it a faithful adaptation of the bizarre Borderlands universe, but it even expanded it with a whole bunch of memorable new characters and events!

As such, I'm happy to say that Tales from the Borderlands is coming back! While the details are still few and far between, Gearbox and 2K Games have just revealed that an all-new Tales from the Borderlands adventure game will be launching in 2022.

This currently unnamed follow-up will bring with it a new adventure, new characters and new tales. In other words, it's highly likely that this won't be a direct sequel to the Tales from the Borderlands, but rather a brand new set of stories set within the same world and only occasionally brushing up against some of the old ones.

Once we get some actual information, ideally alongside a trailer or two, I'll make sure to let you know. Until then, considering giving the original Tales from the Borderlands a try.
