[Update]: Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town has now landed onto Steam.

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, formerly a part of the Harvest Moon series, released for the Game Boy Advance all the way back in 2003. While it may be incredibly old by today's standards, it is one of those games that has successfully stood the test of time and is remarkably enjoyable to this very day.

As such, you might be interested to hear that a full remake of it will soon be launching onto PC. And when I say soon, I really do mean that as Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town will be arriving this July 14th. It's also worth mentioning that the Nintendo Switch has already been released, so if you want to kickstart your farm as soon as possible, that would be the route to take.

When it comes to the actual gameplay and visuals, you can check out what the remaster has to offer through the recently posted trailer. Have a look:

While I'm sure many of you will disagree, I'm personally not the biggest fan of the new visuals. They're a lot higher quality than the classic GBA ones, but they're so plain and uninteresting that I can't help but feel like a lot of the classic Harvest Moon charm has been stripped away. Still, the original's not going anywhere any time soon, so I suppose having more choices is always a good thing.

Whatever your thoughts on the matter may be, you can learn more about Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, as well as potentially pick up a PC copy once it goes live, by hopping over to Steam.
