Fallout 76 artwork for the 2022 roadmap

After going through some rough patches at the very start, Fallout 76 has slowly but surely managed to carve itself a nice and comfortable niche. So if you ever to dive in and see what a multiplayer take on Fallout might be like, this would be a pretty good time to do so as Bethesda has just committed to supporting Fallout 76 all throughout 2022.

According to the freshly released roadmap, the first of the big updates will arrive in Spring alongside alien invaders, new public events, and new random encounters. Spring will also bring with it a Fallout Worlds update which will add the ability to earn SCORE, as well as the release of Season 8: A Better Life Undreground.

The Summer update, on the other hand, will bring with it a new season, as well as a wide assortment of challenging new public events to undertake. The most exciting of these will be Test Your Metal - a series of arena fights against all sorts of deadly automatons!

As for the Fall update, that one will offer you a chance to venture beyond Appalachia’s borders in order to visit post-nuclear Pittsburgh. You can expect to see new missions, a bunch of new NPCs to interact with, new types of enemies to square off against, a brand new season, and naturally, a whole boatload of new loot to hoard.

The final of the currently announced updates will arrive in Winter alongside the Nuka World on Tour traveling roadshow. The details are still few and far between on this one, but what I can tell you is that there will be a bunch of new public events to undertake, a region boss to endlessly die against, and much like before, a new season to mess around with.

You can read a tiny bit more about these additions, as well as keep an eye on the upcoming Spring update, over at the Fallout website. Enjoy!
