Everybody's Gone To The Rapture is coming to the PC on April 14

A couple of weeks ago it was confirmed that Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is coming to PC, but a crucial piece of information was missing in that announcement, the release date.

I speculated that the official launch will be coming up in the near future, but as it turns out its way sooner than I or anyone else expected as Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is being unleashed tomorrow, April 14. Here's the trailer, and what exactly the PC version brings to the table in terms of improvements:

The PC version will come with the following features and improvements, as outlined in the official FAQ:

Performance improvements, and various graphical options – the game will run at a great framerate, and potentially at a much higher resolution, on a wide range of PC hardware;

Accessibility options:

- A crosshair for people who may suffer from motion sickness;

- A visual aid to all the phones and radios for the hard-of-hearing;

- A one-button "tilt" functionality / simplified event tuning for players with mobility issues;

Support for keyboard & mouse -with control remapping- and for all the usual controllers (including the Steam controller!);

A lot of minor bug fixes (places where you could get stuck, floating objects, etc.)

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture will be arriving for Windows on April 14 at a $20/€20 price tag (with no launch discount as far as I'm aware). As a final, and rather sad note, there are currently no plans for a Mac or Linux version.

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is a beautiful game to behold
