[Update]: Dune: Spice Wars has now launched from Early Access alongside mixed reviews, mostly because the previously teased story-focused campaign has not been implemented.

Things are about to heat up in Dune: Spice Wars as Shaddam IV, the 81st Padishah Emperor, has decided enough is enough. He has now personally arrived onto Arrakis to sort the whole mess out, bringing with him highly advanced technology, legions of powerful Sardaukar warriors, and a considerable amount of political weight to throw around.

When it comes to the actual gameplay, the most exciting thing about the newly unleashed House Corrino is that they can deploy two main bases! You'll need to reach 5000 hegemony to be able to do that, but needless to say, being able to have a second main base close to your opponents is something well worth pursuing.

Besides the House Corrino faction, the update has also brought with it a variety of balance changes, quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. You can check out the full list of tweaks and additions over at Steam.
