[Update]: Dota 2 has now added Snapfire and Void Spirit, alongside a staggering amount of balance changes and tweaks.

Dota 2's absolutely gigantic The International tournament has now concluded, and while I can't say much without spoiling things, the finale sure was a sight to behold! Besides the games themselves, Valve had one more reason for people to get excited about The International - the reveal of two brand new heroes!

Since saying anything about the two heroes would potentially ruin a bit of the surprise, allow me to simply share with you their recently posted cinematic trailers. Have a gander, they're quite fun:

If you're wondering just what these heroes might have in terms of abilities, I'm afraid you'll have to keep wondering as Valve hasn't announced anything just yet. The only thing I can really tell you is that Void Spirit will have some sort of mind control mechanic given that it was datamined a while back, though how exactly that will work, nobody outside of Valve currently knows. Still, speculating about the new heroes is half the fun, so I can't really complain about the situation!

Once both of the heroes arrive I'll make sure to let you know as I'm quite curious myself, but until then you can keep an eye on the Dota 2 website for any further announcements or more teasers.
