Devil May Cry 5 official artwork and logo

If you're a fan of ridiculously cheesy storylines, over-the-top action and characters that seem well aware they're part of a video game, you'll be glad to hear that Devil May Cry 5 has now been announced! Even though the main character will be the young demon hunter Nero, Devil May Cry 5 will feature three playable and highly unique characters, which should go a long way when it comes to replayability.

While the other two characters have not been detailed just yet, the latest E3 trailer does a pretty good job of showcasing what Nero brings to the table, as well as just how cheesy Devil May Cry 5 truly is. Have a look, the trailer's a real treat:

As you've not doubt noticed, Nero has lost is his rather fancy Devil Bringer demon arm, but that doesn't seem to have phased him very much as he has immediately replaced it with a brand new and robotic one! Besides being a nice bit of visual flair, you will be able to customize and build different types of prosthetic arms, each of which will come with their own combat abilities and combo-enablers. Naturally, you can also expect to see a sharp increase in hand-related one-liners!

Devil May Cry 5 will be coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in Spring of 2019. The actual gameplay details will be shared at Gamescom 2018, but until then you can learn just a bit more by visiting the official website.
