For those of you looking for totally serious and bizarrely Christmas themed zombie slaying, I bring some good news! According to a recent announcement Capcom will be ushering Dead Rising 4 onto Steam on March 14th, 2017.
If you've somehow never seen a Dead Rising game, or if you just need a brief reminder of how insane all of it is, here's the relatively recent "Return to the Mall" trailer. It doesn't feature a ton of gameplay, but it does a rather good job of setting the proper mood. Anyway, here's the trailer:
Before you get too excited, it is important to mention that Dead Rising 4 is a fairly divisive game. From what I've seen there appears to be a substantial amount of players disappointed with how much it has diverged from the series roots. So before you dive in I would recommend reading a couple of reviews, just to make sure you're OK with all of the new changes.
