Darksiders: Warmastered Edition official artwork staring the Horseman of War

I'm not exactly sure why this week is so significant, but apparently every single game has decided it is the perfect time to announce delays. Watch Dogs 2 was recently delayed until November 29th on the PC, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3's new release date has been pinned for April, and in order to one-up everyone else THQ Nordic has just announced that both Darksiders: Warmastered Edition and the action-RPG The Dwarves are being pushed back!

While originally slated to release in October, the new and improved version of Darksiders has been delayed in order to give the developers a little bit more time to polish things up. But don't worry, you won't have to wait for very long as the new release date is slated for November 29th on the PC... exactly as Watch Dogs 2, which I can't imagine is going to end up in Darksiders' favor.

As for The Dwarves, King Art's action-RPG based on the rather popular book series of the same name, it is being shoved back a little bit harder than Darksiders. After already being delayed once it was supposed to be released this fall, but apparently the developers need a bit more time to work out all of the kinks as The Dwarves has now been pinned for December 1st.

Personally, I am completely OK with this. I know it sucks having to wait even longer for a game you're excited about, but if the other choice requires you to play a buggy mess there really isn't much of a choice after all. Hopefully Nordic and King Art will use these next few weeks well and deliver some amazing and bug-free games. We sure could use some of those given how many recent AAA games launched nearly broken on the PC.

And finally, since The Dwarves is a somewhat lesser known game, here's one of the most recent gameplay trailers. It should hopefully give you a good idea of what its all about:
