After a very long and rather unexpected journey, the Darksiders series has now finally made a return with Darksiders 3 on both PC and consoles. As you might expect given the previous games, you'll be taking on the role of Fury, one of the horsemen of the apocalypse, as she roams the land in search of demons to beat up, abilities to acquire, and giant bosses to hit straight in the shins.

While I would love to tell you Darksiders 3 has been met with nothing but praise, I'm afraid the reviews are a bit of a mixed bag. There are plenty of bugs you'll need to overcome, as well as egregious balancing issues you will need to power through in order to properly enjoy it. I won't go into any details as I haven't played it myself, but from everything I've seen so far I would highly recommend you wait a month or two before picking Darksiders 3 up - just to be on the safe side.
