Dark Souls 3 is Bandai Namco America's best selling title

In a bit of news that pleases me greatly, Bandai Namco America has announced that Dark Souls 3 is the fastest selling game in the company's history, and to top it all off, its also the current champion on the UK weekly sales chart, followed by The Division, and EA's UFC.

To celebrate such an achievement Bandai Namco has released a brand new Dark Souls 3 trailer, this time around with music that actually matches the tone of the Souls series! Do be warned however, there are some minor boss spoilers in there as well, so if you want to have a 'pure' playthrough I'd suggest averting your eyes... or simply not clicking the play button:

You might be wondering at this point whether Dark Souls 3 could ever live up to the amount of praise its receiving from critics and players alike, to which the answer would be yes, absolutely! Despite doing a detailed review a full week ago, I am still spending unhealthy amounts of hours with Dark Souls 3, and it doesn't look like its going to be over any time soon as I've just discovered an entire massive area hidden in the most obscure of locations. In short, if you even have an inkling of interest in Dark Souls 3 then by all means get it, its a stellar game and quite possibly the best of the entire Souls series.

If you're relatively new to the genre and worry about the difficulty I've prepared a spoiler-free beginner's guide to help you along, and if its the state of the PC port that piques your interest, you can find my analysis here. Happy hollowing!
