Code Vein is set to arrive this September 28th for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, bringing with it some Dark Souls inspired combat and what appears to be an overly cheesy storyline. What I mean with the Dark Souls comparison is that Code Vein heavily relies on careful timing, dodging and blocking, as well as punishing enemies whenever they make a mistake.

Rather than babble on, allow me to share with you a couple of the recently posted trailers. Each one is only around 30 seconds long, but they should give you a decent (albeit overly flashy) idea of what to expect from the actual combat. Have a look:

You won't find much in terms of written information just yet, but what you will find is quite a few videos and screenshots that should give you the answers you seek.
