Aliens: Fireteam Elite official artwork without logo

As you would imagine from the name alone, Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a co-op focused third-person shooter that will pit you and your companions against hordes upon hordes of acid-spewing Xenomorphs. The launch version will bring with it four unique campaigns set within familiar locations, as well as a plethora of customization options for each of the marines and their weaponry, all in an effort to keep things fresh and interesting for a long time to come.

If you're wondering what all of this looks like in actual gameplay, however, allow me to share with you one of the recent trailers. It should clue you in quite quickly on just what Aliens: Fireteam Elite is trying to accomplish. Have a peek:

I haven't played it myself just yet so take the following with a few grains of salt, but judging by the reviews it would appear that Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a purely average game. You can have a decent bit of fun with it, especially with friends by your side, but it doesn't look like it'll be one of those games that will stick with you after you're done playing it. So if you're willing to accept a bit of advice, I'd recommend picking this one up at a bit of a discount later down the line.

Whatever your thoughts on the matter may be, you can keep an eye on Aliens: Fireteam Elite's launch and subsequent user reviews over at Steam.
