In celebration of France's Bastille Day, as well as to honor the late comic book artist and developer Benoît Sokal, GOG is currently giving away two of his classic point & click adventure games - Syberia 1 and 2. Simply head on over to GOG, add the two games to your account, and you'll be good to go after a short download.

The one catch, as always, is that the giveaway is time limited. As such, you'll need to add the two games to your account before 1pm UTC on July 17, after which you'll be able to play them whenever you want.

It's also worth mentioning that these are fairly old games designed for 4:3 displays. As such, I would highly recommend not forcing them to run in widescreen as you'll just going to distort the visuals and make a stretchy mess. Aside from that, the two games are still fun to play, so if you're into the genre I'd highly recommend checking them out.
