After releasing an uninspired piece of DLC for the otherwise excellent Chivalry: Medieval Warfare the developers Torn Banner Studios slowly went silent.

The reason for their withdrawal, as we've found out today, is that they are working on a brand new game titled Mirage: Arcane Warfare which takes takes the medieval fighting style from Chivalry and spices it up with some fireballs. Here's the short teaser trailer:

If you were hoping to get some more information on Mirage I'm afraid there isn't any as Torn Banner has decided to make this an "announcement of an announcement" type of a scenario. The proper trailer, gameplay information and most likely the release date will be announced next week on the Mirage website.

The expected release date for Mirage: Arcane Warfare, as of right now anyway, is sometime in 2016.
