Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 close quarters street battle

If you're still in the mood for Battle Royale games, you might be interested to hear that Call of Duty's Blackout Battle Royale mode is currently having a free weekend on both PC and consoles. Simply head on over to the official website, click the "download" button at the center of your screen, and after a bit of a hefty download you'll be ready to mow down dozens of your fellow players.

The only catch is that this free trial will end on January 24th, so if you're even remotely curious about Blackout Battle Royale, you might want to hop in as soon as possible. And if you're wondering what exactly Blackout is all about, allow me to share with you one of the original trailers:

I won't pretend I'm a massive fan of Call of Duty's multiplayer or Battle Royale games in general, but from what I've seen the Blackout mode appears to be quite enjoyable, albeit a bit chaotic. So while I'm not exactly sure if it's good enough to be your "main" game, for the low, low price of free I'd say it's definitely worth at least a try!

You can learn more about Blackout, as well as Black Ops 4 itself, by heading over to the Call of Duty website. Have fun!
