Bioware's co-op focused action-RPG Anthem is set to arrive this February 22nd for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. You can expect to see a whole bunch of enemies to mow down, a variety of jetpacks to mess around with, more loot than any human could ever possibly hope to carry, and perhaps most interestingly of all, a focus on classic BioWare storytelling and decision-making.

What exactly all of that will look like in gameplay terms, that still remains to be seen, but what I can tell you is what kind of PC you will need in order to have everything run nice and smooth. Here are the recommended and minimum PC system requirements:

Minimum System Requirements

OS: 64-bit Windows 10

CPU: Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350

RAM: 8 GB System Memory

GPU: NVIDIA GTX 760, AMD Radeon 7970 / R9280X

GPU RAM: 2 GB Video Memory

Hard Drive: At least 50 GB of free space

DirectX: DirectX 11

Recommended System Requirements

OS: 64-bit Windows 10

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 3.6GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X 3.5 GHz

RAM: 16 GB System Memory

GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060/ RTX 2060, AMD RX 480

GPU RAM: 4 GB Video Memory

Hard Drive: At least 50 GB of free space

DirectX: DirectX 11

While the system requirements seem pretty standard for a major AAA game these days, the one thing that does stand out is the specific need for Windows 10. Whether this means Anthem will simply not run on Windows 7 and 8, or if it'll run but not be officially supported, I'm not exactly sure. Whatever the case may be, if you're excited for BioWare's upcoming action-RPG, you might want to settle into Windows 10 by the time February 22nd rolls around.

To learn more about Anthem, as well as follow any future developer updates, you should head on over to the official website. And just for good measure, allow me to leave you with one of the lengthier previews talking about the gear and progression systems. Enjoy!
