Bethesda artwork for Fallout 76

[Update]: As a little bonus, Bethesda has also added four classic The Elder Scrolls games onto Steam, two of which are free!

Starting on May 11th, Bethesda will be sunsetting their Bethesda.net Launcher and focusing primarily on Steam as their PC platform of choice. In order to make this process as painless as possible, they have now opened up the ability to transfer everything from your Bethesda.net account over to Steam.

This migration includes your game library and wallet, meaning you will not lose anything of value in the transfer. Similarly, most of your save files will be automatically migrated, though a couple games will need you to go through the process manually. And if you have any games where you have to use your Bethesda.net login to play, worry not as all of that will continue working as it always has.

Another bit of good news is that there doesn't appear to be any time window during which you will have to go through the migration or risk losing your games. So even though the Bethesda.net Launcher will be going down on May 11th, there's no rush to do anything as you'll be able to migrate all of your games at any point in the foreseeable future. Still, I would recommend doing it sooner rather than later or else you might just forget about it entirely.

You can start the process, as well as learn more about some of its finer details, over at the Bethesda website.
