While I can understand the appeal of multiplayer, for me the main focus in Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 and its predecessor is definitely on the campaign. The missions are more interesting than straight up multiplayer brawls, the pace is a lot more relaxed, and perhaps most importantly of all, the story is so delightfully cheesy that I can't help but love it!

With that in mind, I am very pleased to say that Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2's very first expansion has now added a brand new Chaos campaign with its own unique mechanics and storylines. Here's what you can expect to see:

I've only played it for a short while, so take the following with a few grains of salt, but so far the Chaos campaign has been really fun to mess around with. The mission objectives are more interesting than in the original campaign, the cinematics and voice acting are appropriately over-the-top, and the whole Gift of Chaos system adds a nice bit of flavor to the ships themselves. It's nothing too revolutionary, mind you, but if you enjoyed Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 and you're looking for more, the Chaos campaign might be worth a closer look.
