[Update]: The Old Ways update has now arrived, and I'm pleased to say it's a pretty fun one so far!

Out of all the characters in Apex Legends, Bloodhound is probably the most mysterious. We don't know where they're from, we don't know who hides behind that mask, and besides their love of the hunt, we basically know nothing about what makes Bloodhound tick.

So if you're interested in learning a little bit more about Bloodhound, as well as figuring out where the iconic helmet comes from, you might want to check out the newly posted animated short. It's a fairly long one, but thankfully it's also a pretty fun one! Have a look:

This cinematic short isn't everything Bloodhound will be getting, however, as there will also be a brand new event running from April 7 - April 21. It'll bring with it a brand new arena where you'll have to fend off large packs of prowler beasts in order to claim high tier loot, a variety of cosmetics to collect, as well as some more juicy Bloodhound lore.

The update will also add two long requested features - a permanent Duos game mode and the ability to choose which map to play on! This kind of addition has been a long time coming, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited about it all the same. After all, the southern part of Kings Canyon is pretty much perfect for quick and action-packed matches, and sometimes that's all one really needs out of Apex!
