Four years after the main storyline ended on a massive cliffhanger, Warframe's The New War update has now finally pushed things forward! While there are still many mysteries to uncover, the lengthy The New War story quest should give you a pretty good idea of what's happening with the Sentients and Lotus, as well as how their presence might affect the rest of the system.

You can get a bit of a sneak peek at the new storyline, as well as check out what all of this looks like in action, through two of the recently posted trailers. Have a gander, starting with the rather lovely cinematic trailer:

Given that The New War builds upon an assortment of previous quests, there is a rather lengthy list of objectives you'll need to complete in order to be able to start the new content. To put it simply, you'll need to complete all of the story quests from Natah to Heart of Deimos, as well as unlock both the Railjack and the Necramech. Once you've done that, The New War should trigger automatically.

It's also worth mentioning that while The New War is a sizable story quest, the amount of repeatable new content might feel somewhat limited since this is only the beginning of the new chapter. Digital Extremes already have plans to expand things further, but with the holidays now nearly upon us, that is likely going to take a little while to get here. Still, from what I've seen so far, The New War is well worth checking out!
