[Update]: Warcraft 3: Reforged devs have now released a lengthy blog post addressing some of the community concerns.

With the beta test now well and truly over, Warcraft 3: Reforged has now finally been released in full. It brings with it a variety of remastered character models and textures, improved online connectivity and matchmaking, a couple of minor changes to the campaign, and most importantly of all, a whole bunch of balance tweaks for all the races.

If you're wondering what this might look like in gameplay terms, as well as how the cinematics have fared after some minor improvements, you'll find your answers in the recently posted launch trailer. Have a gander:

Personally, I'm not exactly impressed with Warcraft 3: Reforged. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great game as this is Warcraft 3 we're talking about, but there just doesn't seem to be all that much in terms of upgrades for the Reforged version to be worth it.

Even the newly created models, the one major feature of the Reforged edition, are a mixed bag with some looking excellent and others like an off-brand copy. So if you ask me, I'd stick with the classic Warcraft 3 until Blizzard patches some of the more annoying Reforged bugs, as well as brings back some of the multiplayer features that are currently missing.
