Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 official screenshot of a devastated street

If you prefer Call of Duty's standard multiplayer over the shenanigans that happen in the co-op focused zombies mode, you might be interested to hear that Activision has now separated it from the rest. So from now until January 6th, you can buy Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's multiplayer and Blackout Battle Royale game modes for $30 combined, while the full version will set you back $47.

You can get a pretty good idea of what to expect from this multiplayer package, as well as what the Blackout Battle Royale mode is all about, by checking out one of the pre-launch trailers. Have a gander, it's a fairly short one:

Whether this new package is actually worth it or not, I'm afraid that's not a question I'm going to be able to answer for you given that the only reason I bought Black Ops 4 was because of the zombies mode. What I can say is that the gunplay is fairly enjoyable and that the overall level of polish is quite high, so if you're a fan of Call of Duty and you don't mind Black Ops 4 being more of the same, it might just be worth a closer look.
