In a bit of an unexpected announcement, Saber Interactive and iLLOGIKA have revealed that they are working on a video game adaptation of A Quiet Place, the 2018 horror movie. The details are currently few and far between, though what I can tell you is that the A Quiet Place game will be launching in 2022.

“The A Quiet Place video game will let fans experience the tension of the films with a level of immersion they’ve never felt before,” explains the brief announcement from iLLOGIKA. “We’re excited to work with EP1T0ME and to team up with Saber Interactive to share this unique vision of hope and horror with players everywhere in the future.”

While these sorts of movie tie-ins usually end up being an absolute disaster, especially when developed by smaller studios, there is a decent chance A Quiet Place might actually end up being one of the few exceptions. The reason I say that is because Saber Interactive are heavily involved in the project, and they are the ones that have managed to take the fairly unimpressive World War Z movie and create a genuinely fun game out of it. So here's to hoping they'll be able to work their magic once more.

Whatever the case may be, I'll make sure to let you know once the full reveal goes live at some point later this year. Until then, you can keep an eye on the official website for any sort of teasers and updates.
