If you've missed out on the Wii version of A Boy and His Blob you're going to have a chance to correct that as the game is making its way to the PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Vita relatively soon, on Janaury 19th to be exact.
A Boy and His Blob is a charming puzzle-platformer with some really great visuals and interesting narrative wrapping all of it together so it is a shame that it got somewhat overlooked after its release on the Wii. Hopefully with this new port it'll get the recognition it deserves.
If you haven't heard about it, A Boy and His Blob is actually a reimagining of an old NES classic, A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia though all I can remember about that one from my childhood is that it was insanely difficult to the point my young brain simply couldn't wrap itself around the puzzles and just gave up. The Wii version I hear is much more accessible while still keeping the spirit of the game intact so I have to say I'm looking forward to this one.
The port itself will be optimized to run on a 1080p resolution at 60 FPS and, as mentioned above, will release on January 19th 2016 although its price point is as of yet unknown. Once more information becomes available I'll make sure to update you but for now I'll leave you with the trailer:
