Commandos 3 HD remaster artwork for the turn-based tactics game

Two years after the somewhat poorly received Commandos 2 - HD Remaster, the final real-time tactics game in the series has now underwent the same sort of treatment, though under a different studio. As such, the freshly released Commandos 3 - HD Remaster brings with it reworked 3D models and textures that were rebuilt from the ground up, improved and fully customizable controls, a refined UI, and most importantly, a new set of beginner-friendly tutorials to help you get started on the right foot.

What the new visual improvements look like in action, that you can get a few glimpses at through the launch trailer below. It's a little bit messy, but it should hopefully still get the message across. Have a look:

Much like its predecessor, Commandos 3 - HD Remaster currently has mixed reviews on Steam. Most of the complaints seem to be focused on the overabundance of bugs, though there's also a fair few positive reviews saying there's barely any bugs at all. Quite the conundrum!

Where exactly the truth lies, I have no idea, but I do have an easy way for you to find out. As it turns out, Commandos 3 - HD Remaster has a free demo available on Steam! So before you even think about opening up your wallet, I'd highly recommend giving the demo a bash and seeing how well Commandos 3 - HD Remaster behaves itself on your PC.

Enjoy, and if you're interested in learning a few more tidbits about Commandos 3 - HD Remaster before jumping in, you can find what you seek over at the official website.
