Seemingly inspired by flash games of old, Warpips is a freshly released strategy game that's all about unleashing waves upon waves of disposable troops and machinery upon your opponents in order to overwhelm them. It's essentially a high-stakes game of tug-of-war, with a variety of upgrades and randomized elements thrown in to help spice everything up.

What all of this madness looks like in actual gameplay, that you can check out through the launch trailer below. Have a gander:

I've only played it for a short while so don't take this as a proper review, but so far Warpips has been a enjoyable little time-waster. That said, it doesn't seem to have an immense amount of depth to it, so it's definitely not something I'd recommend trying to sink a lot of time into. Still, considering it's currently only 5€, I don't think that's really that big of an issue if you're in the mood for a bit of RTS-flavored action.

Whatever your thoughts on the matter may be, you can learn more about Warpips, as well as check out some of the player reviews, over at Steam. Enjoy!
