Warhammer: Chaosbane screenshot of the Dwarf Engineer Keela

After the previous Tomb Kings focused expansion, the Diablo inspired ARPG Warhammer: Chaosbane has now taken things in a bit of a different direction by releasing a free new character - a Dwarf Engineer called Keela. As you might except from a Warhammer Dwarf, Keela is capable of both ranged and hand-to-hand combat, and excels in the use of gadgets like flamethrowers, explosives or turrets.

You can get a quick overview of just how all of these abilities function, as well as what Keela looks like in action, through the recently posted trailer. Have a gander:

Besides the constantly angry Dwarf, the update has also added a new environment to explore. Heeding the call for help from the Imperial Gunnery School, you'll need to delve deep into the forges of Nuln in order to figure out what manner of evil has taken hold. Needless to say, the answer is probably Chaos!

The update has also added a variety of new quests, two new difficulty levels (Chaos 9 and 10), as well as couple of new enemies to clobber. There's also a bunch of balance changes for the heroes themselves, a new life-drain stat to help you regenerate during combat, and a couple of bug fixes to top everything off.

You can read the full patch notes, as well as learn more about Warhammer: Chaosbane, over at Steam.
