Necromunda: Underhive Wars official artwork with logo

Rogue Factor, the team behind Mordheim: City of the Damned, have now returned with yet another Warhammer themed strategy game. However, while Mordehim was set within the Warhammer Fantasy universe, the freshly launched Necromunda is all about the dystopian landscapes of the Warhammer 40k future.

When it comes to the gameplay, Necromunda will have you take control of one of three unique gangs as they attempt to wrest control of the entire hive city. You'll need to equip and specialize each of their members, send them off on a variety of missions to improve your standing, and naturally, engage in fierce battles against opposing gangs using a combination of melee and ranged weaponry.

Since that can apply to pretty much every strategy game out there, allow me to share with you one of the gameplay previews. It should clue you in quite quickly on just what Necromunda has to offer. Have a gander:

Before you even consider opening up your wallet, it is worth mentioning that Necromunda has exactly the same problem Mordheim had at launch - bugs, and loads of them. So unless you're incredibly eager to dive in, it might be wise to give the developers a few weeks to correct most of the egregious issues.

You can keep track of the upcoming updates, as well as learn more about Necromunda's current state, over at Steam. Enjoy!
