In announcement that I don't think anyone could've ever predicted, the Poncle team have revealed that Vampire Survivors will soon be getting an Among Us inspired DLC! And when I say soon, I really do mean that as Vampire Survivors: Emergency Meeting will be launching on December 18th, 2023 for PC and Xbox, while the Switch and mobile versions will be coming at a later date.

As is tradition, this announcement was followed by a somewhat insane, albeit still awesome animated trailer. Have a gander, it's quite a fun one:

In more concrete terms, the Emergency Meeting DLC will set you back $2.5 and bring with it nine new characters, as well as fifteen new weapons of which seven will be evolutions. You can also expect to see a chunky new stage to explore, a brand new Adventure, a couple of music tracks to jam out to, and naturally, a whole host of new achievements to hunt down, though this time around they'll only be in-game achievements due to some legal mumbo jumbo.

Even though I don't particularly care about Among Us, this does seem like quite a solid piece of DLC. There's a lot of content on offer and the price tag is, as usual, remarkably low. So unless it somehow manages to actively make the game worse, I think I'll definitely be grabbing this one just to have something to help pass the time while I'm in a food coma from eating way too much cake!
