[Update #2]: There Is No Light's Enhanced Edition has added a whole bunch of new abilities and rebalanced most enemies.

[Update]: I've now released a detailed review for There Is No Light, and I'm pleased to say it's quite good!

Set in a world where humanity has fled the surface following a global catastrophe, There Is No Light is a dark and brutal, yet still remarkably stylish action-RPG. It brings with it a lengthy and non-linear storyline with plenty of meaningful choices to make, a chunky skill tree to help you build your preferred playstyle, and naturally, a whole host of deranged enemies and eldritch abominations to keep smashing your head against.

Since There Is No Light is heavily focused on its combat and atmosphere, allow me to stop babbling and instead share with you the recently posted preview. It should give you a pretty good idea of just what There Is No Light is trying to do. Have a gander:

If that looks like your type of adventure, you'll be pleased to hear that you won't have to wait all that long in order to dive in. I say this because There Is No Light will be launching onto PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, Humble Store and GOG the very next week, on September 19th!

Once it gets here I'll make sure to let you know. Until then, you can learn more about There Is No Light and its gameplay through a variety of developer previews over at Steam. Enjoy!
