The Sinking City is a newly released and Lovecraft inspired adventure-investigation hybrid. As you might imagine from that brief description alone, The Sinking City is all about trying to figure out what sort of unearthly horrors have descended upon the world, all the while doing your very best to avoid going completely and utterly insane.

As is tradition with most Lovecraftian games, The Sinking City has ended up being a bit of a mixed bag. While the visuals are somewhat unpolished and the combat almost completely uninspired, the actual storytelling and atmosphere present throughout the adventure are pretty spot-on. So if you don't mind overlooking some flaws in favor of an immersive experience, The Sinking City might just be worth a closer look.
