Seven: The Days Long Gone is a 3D isometric RPG that lets you freely explore a massive sandbox world. You have the ability to climb just about anything in order to avoid guards or potential obstacles, the tools needed to sneak through an enemy compound in order to plunder its riches, or if the situation favors you, the option to launch a full-on assault with a combination of weapons and magic.

If you're wondering what all of this might look like in-game, or at the very least what the combat mechanics are all about, you'll find what you seek in the recently posted trailer. Its not overly long, but i'll give you a good idea of what to expect from Seven. Have a look:

I haven't played it myself so take the following with a few grains of salt, but from all of the reviews and user comments I've read so far it would appear that Seven is "one of those games" - highly enjoyable if you're a fan of its niche, but potentially insufferable for everyone else. What this means is that Seven is most definitely flawed, but if you're willing to overlook some of the bugbears and really dive into the gameplay mechanics, there is a good chance you'll have a bit of fun with it. Figuring out which side you belong to, however, is going to be the hard part. As such, I would recommend waiting until Seven goes on a bit of a discount before diving in, just to be on the safe side.

If you would like to learn more about Seven: The Days Long Gone, or just check out some of the other gameplay videos, you should head over to either Steam or the official website. Finally, let me send you off with one of the recent trailers that focuses entirely on stealth - something you will be doing a lot of if you plan to keep your head attached to your shoulders. Enjoy!
