[Update]: Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break has now rolled onto PC and consoles.

Rock of Ages 2 is a rather unique combination of a tower defense and "smash everything with a giant ball" game, with the end result being far more enjoyable than one would expect. What this means in gameplay terms is that you will spend one half of the match placing defenses in order to mess up your opponent's plans and force their ball off the map, and in the other half using your god-rock to crush a variety of 'historically accurate' enemies that appear to be lifted straight out of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Since all of this has probably made you even more confused, allow me to share with you one of the most recent trailers. It should give you a pretty damn good idea of what Rock of Ages 2 is all about, and perhaps most importantly, just how unique and interesting it looks like! Have a gander:

If this sort of insanity looks like something you would love to mess around with, you'll be glad to hear that Rock of Ages 2 recently arrived to both PC and consoles. So if you're looking to learn more, or just grab yourself a copy, you should head over to either Steam or the official website.

Additionally, if you grab Rock of Ages 2 by September 26th you will be given a free 'Binding of Isaac' themed pack, just in case you wanted to roll Isaac's disembodied head straight through the enemy's front gates. I mean, who doesn't!? And finally, here's a couple of rather... unique images to set the mood and send you on your way:
