What the Golf? screenshot of a car, cats and golf?

While golf is most definitely in the name, What the Golf? is more of an exercise in how many wildly different gameplay styles one can fit into a game before it all blows up. As it turns out, an absolute ton as What the Golf? is an immensely creative game despite having such a restrictive theme.

If you're wondering why I'm still not mentioning the actual gameplay, that would be because much like Frog Fractions, What the Golf? is really one of those games you want to go in completely blind. If you know what the 'trick' is, then the game loses a bit of its power over you. So if you're in the mood for a charming and somewhat experimental game, What the Golf? is well worth experiencing.

That said, I can completely understand if you're not willing to just throw away money completely blindly. As such, I'll also share with you the recently posted launch trailer. It unfortunately spoils a lot of the surprises, so if you find yourself liking what you see, shut the thing off and just play What the Golf? yourself. With that little bit of warning now out of the way, here's the trailer:

You can learn a little bit more about What the Golf?, as well as check out some of the user reviews, over at Steam. Have fun!
