This is where the newly announced Rite of ILK steps in. You'll still be exploring and puzzling your way through a variety of locations, but you will have to do so while literally tied to the other player by a rope!
Besides ensuring that both players are on the same page, the rope will also serve as one of the main gameplay mechanics in Rite of ILK, often acting as both a hazard and as a way to solve tricky challenges.
