[Update]: Turbo Overkill's Version 1.0 has now arrived, and as I've detailed throughout my review, it's a ton of fun!

I hope you're not tired of the recent resurgence of retro FPS games, because there is a brand new one coming in the near future - Turbo Overkill. As befitting its name, Turbo Overkill is a fast-paced and cyberpunk themed FPS where your character is apparently so unhinged he has straight up replaced one of his legs with a chainsaw!

What this nonsense looks like in actual gameplay, as well as what sort of 'boomer shooter' Turbo Overkill even is, that you can find out through the freshly posted trailer. Have a peek:

If all of this looks like something you'd love to sink your teeth into, you'll be interested to hear that Turbo Overkill will be heading into Steam Early Access this April 22nd, 2022. This initial version will bring with it the first eight stages of the campaign, as well as a variety of difficulty modifiers and unlockables that should take you somewhere between five to eight hours to fully complete.

Future updates will bring with the rest of the stages, as well as the usual assortment of new abilities to play around with, new challenges to undertake, and quality-of-life tweaks to help spice everything up. Once everything has been completed, polished up and ready to go, most likely at some point in late 2022, Turbo Overkill will also make its way to PlayStation, Xbox and Switch.

You can learn a little bit more about it, as well as keep an eye on its upcoming Early Access launch, over at Steam. Enjoy!
