Out of all the puzzles games I've ever played, Baba is You is probably the one that made me alternate between feeling like a complete genius and an addle-brained moron the most. Still, despite the massive difficulty curve I persevered as there was just something remarkably addictive about using simple mechanics in insanely creative ways to solve problems, often while breaking reality itself in the process.

With all of that in mind, I hope you can realize just how delighted I am to announce that Baba is You is soon getting a bunch of new content! The Baba Make Level update will bring with it a fully fledged level editor, over 150 new puzzles with new objects, art and music, over 100 puzzles that "showcase unused designs and cut content", as well as a bunch of bug fixes and random tweaks.

While the official new puzzles will certainly be a nice little bit of fun, the level editor is the true highlight of this update. The amount of things you can do with it is seriously impressive, to the point that someone calling themselves Germaphobe has already recreated the first level of Doom in it - and yes, it's as awesome as it sounds!

So if you want to join in on the madness, and most likely lose your sanity along the way while struggling through some of the new user-submitted puzzles, make sure to mark November 17th on your calendar as that's when the Baba Make Level update is set to arrive.
