Radial-G is an Oculus Rift racing game

With both the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift arriving in the not so distant future many of the upcoming VR focused games have started moving towards their full release as well.

One such game is Radial-G, a futuristic racer with little respect for gravity, which after being in Early Access for over a year is now ready to be officially released. Here's the launch trailer and a bit more info:

Its important to mention that while Radial-G is built from the ground up with VR support in mind (specifically Oculus Rift) you are also able to play it on regular 2D monitors without much of an issue.

As for the gameplay, its very reminiscent of the old Wipeout given the focus on high speed twists, turns and jumps as well as the overall bright, futuristic aesthetic and minimalistic tracks.

Once released you will be able to play Radial-G in either single player or online multiplayer with up to 32 players on the same map across either single races, championships, elimination modes and more. Speaking of elimination, weapons will be added in an update shortly after release given that the developers "couldn't quite fit it in beforehand" so if your preferred game plan is to shoot down other racers then I'd recommend waiting a month or two after release.

Radial-G is currently in Early Access for €13/$13 but is expected to increase in price once it officially releases near the end of March so if you're interested in some virtual reality racing its probably a good idea to grab it before then.
