Project Nimbus is a fast-paced mech action/shooter game that draws heavy inspiration from anime series like Gundam. What this means in gameplay terms is that you will pilot giant mechs with a ridiculous array of weapons and missiles, battle against even larger opponents or swarms of smaller ones, and naturally, team up with other pilots in order to unleash even greater devastation.

Since Project Nimbus is an anime-inspired game its only fitting that its most recent trailer is completely over-the-top and cheesy to the point of ridiculousness. Have a look, its quite interesting despite the somewhat meek voice acting:

Project Nimbus has been in Steam Early Access for around three years now, but soon it will be officially launching on the PC, with the PS4 version trailing slightly behind. To be more specific, you can expect to see the PC version this September 26th, while the first two acts will be coming to PS4 this Autumn. So whether you're interested or not, I would still recommend you reserve your judgement (and money) until Project Nimbus finally releases as the full version is bound to bring with it a variety of bug fixes and quality of life changes.

To learn more, or just check out some of the other gameplay trailers, you should head over to Steam. And finally, here's a couple of images to send you on your merry way:
