Artwork for the exploration and survival focused RPG Outward and its new Definitive Edition

If you're in the mood for a brutal yet engaging exploration-focused RPG, quite similar to the Gothic or Risen series, you might want to check out Outward's new and improved version. Outward: Definitive Edition comes bundled with both of the previous expansions, a variety of quality-of-life improvements, as well as a bunch of new content to help spice everything up. Naturally, since this is Outward we're talking about, some of that new content has been specifically designed to mess up your day in creative ways!

What this might look like in action, as well as what sort of locations you'll get to explore in Outward, that you can find out through the surprisingly musical trailer below. Have a gander, it's a pretty good one:

If you already own the original version of Outward, as well as The Three Brothers DLC, you can upgrade to the Definitive Edition for free. There is no time limit to this either, so if you're a veteran and you want to grab the Definitive Edition as cheaply as possible, simply waiting for The Three Brothers DLC to go on sale is a solid option.

Whatever route you decide to take, you can learn more about Outward and its Definitive Edition over at Steam. Have fun starving to death and getting chased by hyenas!
